Itinerary
DAY 1
Naples – Ravello
Arrival day
Your driver will meet you at either Naples airport or train station on your arrival. Depart for the divine Amalfi Coast. Arrival in Ravello and check-in at hotel. Welcome meeting and cocktail with your local Avanti Italy representative for an overview of your itinerary. Free afternoon to relax and dinner in a small restaurant in Ravello. (D)
DAY 2
Amalfi Coast – Ravello
Cooking Italian style
After a long lazy breakfast, enjoy your cooking experience here in Ravello. You will meet your chef and after choosing your vegetables in the farm’s garden, you will be introduced to the culinary secrets of the Campania Region Cuisine. The cooking experience ends with a convivial lunch and the afternoon you will be free to visit the Villas of Ravello and the small medieval streets. (B, L)
DAY 3
Amalfi Coast – Tramonti – Ravello
Pompeii excavations and the wines of the Amalfi Coast
You will meet your English-speaking guide at reception after breakfast and depart for Pompeii. Upon arrival at Pompeii you will have a 2 hour tour of the famous ruins.
Return to the Amalfi Coast and stop for a small group wine tasting in Tramonti, the inland of the Amalfi Coast where we still find 18th century vineyards. Here you will visit the vineyards and taste the DOC wines. Afterwards enjoy a farmer’s lunch with the owners overlooking the Valley of Tramonti. Afternoon stop in Minori for a visit of a small liqueur factory where you will assist in the limoncello making and tasting. Transfer back to Hotel. Evening at own leisure. (B, L)

Amalfi Coast – Ravello
Free day at leisure
Free day to relax and explore the Amalfi Coast or relax by the pool. (B)
DAY 5
Amalfi Coast – Atrani – Amalfi – Ravello
The fishermen’s catch …and it’s recipes
Breakfast in Hotel, departure for the tiny jewel town of Atrani. Meeting with your chef and look at the local catch for today’s recipe. Here you will experience the local cuisine based on seafood. After an exclusive lunch with the chef, free afternoon in Amalfi to explore the town and do some shopping. Private transfer back to Ravello. (B, L)
DAY 6
Amalfi Coast – Ravello
Free day at leisure
Free day to relax by the pool or explore the small villages of the coast. Evening transfer by private car to Maiori for dinner in a watchtower overlooking the bay. (B, D)
DAY 7
Amalfi Coast – Cilento Coast – Ravello
Among Greek temples and vineyards
Today we shall experience the tastes and the traditions of the Cilento Coast. Full day excursion with private guide dedicated to the Greek Temples of Paestum.
Stop for a visit to one of the best Mozzarella factories in the area. Meeting with the supervisor and visit of the factory. You can assist in the making of the daily products (mozzarella, yogurt, ice creams). Soon after travel south to the Wine Cellars De Conciliis, for a wine tasting of 4 to 5 DOC wines, light lunch (local Cilento DOP cheeses, home made bread, salami and local savouries) and visit of the cellar. Afternoon visit to Greek Temples of Paestum and return towards the Amalfi Coast. (B, L)

Amalfi Coast – Naples
Departure
After breakfast at your hotel, departure by private transfer to Naples. (B)
